24 years ago, Melissa adopted her daughter, Maya, from Changzhou China.
Maya is one of the 110,000+ kids that are adopted from China by American families, according to the State Department.
In this episode, we are hearing from Melissa about her experience becoming a single mother for Maya, her thoughts on the international adoption community and how the community can be a bridge between US and China.
